DIY Ironing Board Dolly
Based on the popularity of the $14 Steadicam, here's a tutorial on building a $45 dolly out of an ironing board.Be sure to read the comments on page 2, where folks have written in with helpful improvements like:
I found a way to plane the wheels for the dolly, this makes all the difference in the world.
I put a nut and bolt through the wheel and put it on a drill so I can spin them at high speed, and useing a piece of sand paper with a stick, I can shave off all the molding flaws and make them smoth and round
