Amazon Acquires CustomFlix

Amazon.com just celebrated a 10 year anniversary and isn't showing any signs of slowing down. It just bought out DVD publishing-on-demand company CustomFlix, whose main market is the independent film world. As Hacking NetFlix points out:

CustomFlix is not a competitor to Netflix. Instead, if you have created a movie on DVD you can use CustomFlix to get into Netflix, Greencine, etc.

They left one big outlet out. Looks like CustomFlix will also get you listed on Amazon now. Don't get whiplash riding the long tail.
