Morgan Freeman and ClickStar
Morgan Freeman, the voice of War of the Worlds, is aiming to be a media mogul:
Mr. Freeman's new company, called ClickStar, hopes to offer movies on the Internet on the same day they begin showing in theaters.
Yeah. Good luck on that, Morgan. What makes anyone think that the lumbering dinosaur media studios are going to change their revenue model any faster than the comparitively dynamic record industry?
"DVD's are already available in China and in Russia even before they are released for sale here," Mr. Freeman said.
He has a point. Will anyone listen?
