What is Rain in the Mountains?
It is difficult for me to write about today because I was stung on the tongue by a bee at lunch and remember little else. (Where was the bee whisperer when I needed him?)
I'll just offer the following
I might add that the Ericksons were quick to provide me ice and meat tenderizer which numbed the pain and seems to have minimized the swelling. So if you're looking for a bee sting remedy, there's one. I know some people will want to know how I came to be stung on the tongue, and not elsewhere. Those people will have to email me.

When you eat bees, it's best to chew first. Seriously, we're glad you didn't swell up and die.
I was stung on the cheek by a bee while eating lunch sitting in front of Strong Hall when in college. The whole right side of my face started to swell. I had to miss my English Lit class - the teacher said that was the most original excuse she'd ever heard. --Mom

I got stung on the tongue by a bee last summer while I was on a 3 day bike ride. It was awful. And bee venom tastes like ass. Blech. The worst part, though, was I'd never been stung by a bee before. So when the guy at the medical tent said, "We need to figure out if you're allergice to bees. Is your tongue swelling up?" I had to answer, "Well...duh." Luckily, I maintained normal breathing, and was fine. But that was just freaky. Hope you're feeling better!
