Someone took the phrase 'online editing' literally

eyespot is another start-up web video service, this one aimed squarely at the consumer level:
If you are like us, you have a computer filled with random video clips, and a digital camera lurking about with some video on it. Even your cell phone shoots video now.

We set out to build a site which makes it easy to upload, organize and share all that video. To try it out, just create a free eyespot account. Use the upload page to transfer your video to your free personal eyespot page. Send your cell phone video to your eyespot account via video message (MMS), where it will find a happy home instantly.

The editing function looks a lot less powerful than even iMovie, but still cool to see this on a web-based level.

Hey J.

A lot less powerful than even iMovie, yes. But not for long :-)

That being said, we're not out to create an "editing" software application...but rather open up the production of videos to the masses...

As we roll out effects and transitions, it will continue to be extremely simple to use.

The eyespot team.
