Hello Red Core.
Time for the long awaited Los Angeles 4k screening and some late breaking news for those of you that prefer your screenings on the East Coast.
I'm happy to tell all of you that we have inked a day in mid November to screen the IBC images in LA, as well a couple of new shots we will be preparing specifically for this screening. The new shots are not guaranteed to be ready, but we are doing our best just like with the rest of the program and I anticipate we'll be showing the latest progress at the LA screening.
Here are the West Coast screening details:
November 14th, 1:30pm
Nuart Theatre
11272 Santa Monica Blvd, West Los Angeles, CA 90025
http://cinematreasures.org/theater/1128/ (there is a map link on this page) Parking is a bit of a challenge (metered parking in all directions around the theater) and may require a bit of a walk so please allow yourself a bit of time, and bring extra quarters :-)
Our plan is to allow the Reservation holders (that's you all - the ultimate VIP's in our book), Press and selected other VIPs to RSVP in advance for guaranteed seating, so please RSVP to this email by WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 1st with your name, email address and indicate whether you will be bringing a guest to REDCORE@red.com. We will email confirmation invites for you to print out and bring with you prior to the show.
We will open the screening up for the public on November 2nd, so make sure you get your RSVP's in before then. If we fill the theater for the first screening, we will announce an additional showing for the public at 2:30pm on our website and take seating requests on a first come first serve basis (2 people per request for the open screening). We will open the invitation on our RED.com website for the public on Thursday, November 2nd.
